Teaching

I teach a class of Musical Instruments making run by the WEA; while most people are building instruments of the violin family, we also make classic, acoustic, electric guitars and bass. The class is friendly and informal, it takes place every Thursday evening from 7 till 9 pm at the Fir Vale Secondary School during school term time. For more info contact the Yorkshire & Humberside WEA.

In September 2013 I have been appointed violin-making and varnishing teacher at the Civic School of Violin-Making in Milano, Italy.

This is the school where I learned the craft, and it is a great pleaure to be back as a teacher; it is a very stimulating place to work, with 25 young and motivated students from around the world.
